As Christians, we are called to live wholly focused on Jesus and magnifying his glory among the nations. From Collin County to the far corners of this earth, believers are called to exalt the name of Christ.
Both as individuals and as a church body, we do everything bearing in mind the mission our Lord Jesus has given us. Every sermon expands the mission to its hearers. Every ministry is in place to further the mission. A people commanded to go and make disciples, Providence desires to be a church where everything truly does serve the mission of making worshipers of Jesus Christ.

Upcoming Opportunities at Providence
March 17-23, 2018 – Dominican Republic
This trip to the Dominican Republic gives families and members of our church to serve children in an impoverished region. The team will host a VBS-style program, along with medical missions and feeding the hungry. Children from 5th-12th grades may be part of this team if a parent accompanies them. Registration is now closed. For more details, visit the 25 Project website.
Summer 2018 – Eurasia
The team on this trip will facilitate a three-day conference focused on encouraging, teaching, and worshipping with refugees, mostly from Persia, who find themselves in Eurasia. This team will focus on providing a VBS-type atmosphere for children, leading a men's and women's teaching time, and supporting the team as refugees are taught and encouraged. Youth 16 and up may be part of this team if a parent accompanies them.
November 3-12, 2018 – India Mercy Homes
Team members will minister to the orphans and vulnerable youth housed in 25 Project’s sponsored Mercy Homes by hosting a three-day camp focused on Bible teaching, games, crafts, and presentations centered on the Gospel. The team has the privilege of working and worshipping alongside the local church during their time there. This trip is targeted towards adults but mature teenagers over 16 who are accompanied by a parent may be eligible to go.
November 1-11, 2018 – South Asia
Combine your love of the outdoors with your passion for Jesus on an Extreme Team mission trip to South Asia to share the greatest message of all with hundreds of people! The heart of the mission will be to personally present the message of Jesus Christ as a part of the long-term goal that “house churches” will be established where none currently exist. You will be involved in God’s divine appointments as you work alongside local church partners to speak into the lives of those who do not know Jesus. This is an extreme trip (five-day backpacking adventure in the base of the Himalayas to unreached people). The team will hike through the mountains with a local guide and share the gospel in small remote villages. Anyone wanting to go on this trip must be in great physical condition and agree to prepare for carrying a 40 lb. backpack in high altitude.
