We’ve been entrusted with the hope of the gospel and sent into the world as Christ’s ambassadors.

We’ve been given the charge of bearing witness to this amazing truth, and yet few ever experience the joy of leading a new brother or sister to Christ. Even fewer experience the encouragement of partnering with other believers around the world to advance this gospel message. Missions Focus Week is your invitation to experience a glimpse of what God is doing around the world, take a peek at the spiritual situation among other people groups, and walk away with next steps to help you begin living as part of God’s mission, from your neighbors to the nations.

The SItuation: By the Numbers

%

The Population of the world considered unreached

More than 4 in 10 people across the globe lack the resources to hear the gospel and share it with others in their communities. Despite this, only a fraction of the global church’s resources go toward changing this staggering statistic.

People groups with no access the gospel message

This represents entire cultures without access to missionaries, Bible translations, or churches that can sustain the spread of the gospel in their midst.

Christians at risk of extreme persecution

While we enjoy religious freedom here in the West, millions of our brothers and sisters in Christ are taking the gospel to their communities despite great risk to themselves and their families.
