Serving is one of the best ways to get involved at Providence. As you serve, you'll work alongside and make friends with people you may not know otherwise, all while serving the mission of Providence Church. Listed below are some areas you can serve in. If you're interested in other ministries or opportunities to serve, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Administration at Providence covers Sunday counters, technological needs, and volunteers seeking to serve in the office during the week or through projects or special events.
The care ministry of Providence is responsible for the Care Team (who pray with individuals on Sunday morning and midweek) as well as Redemption Groups.
Community groups, men’s and women’s ministries fall under the umbrella of community ministries.
A few of the many opportunities to serve include teaching children, serving as an assistant teacher or substitute, or coming into the office midweek to help with set-up.
Opportunities to serve students (6th-12th grades) include serving as a small group leader or leading worship.
Hospitality teams create the “first impression” as people walk in the doors of Providence. This includes greeters, information desk, the bookstore, and ushers.
The worship ministry includes the band, and people operating the soundboard and screens.
