Week of 1.22.2023 | Weekly Focus

The book of Psalms is filled with songs and poems about the wonderful work of God, our Creator and King. They beautifully remind us of what He has done and encourage us to look around at all the ways creation gives glory to God from their beauty and incredible design. As you read through some of the Psalms this week, give glory to God for creating all things and allowing us to dwell in His kingdom.

Psalms 8:3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?

Weekly Catechism

How and why did God create us? God created us male and female in his own image to know him, love him, live with him, and glorify him. And it is right that we who were created by God should live to his glory.
