Isaiah 44:28-31

Discuss

Ask questions about what you read. Here are three simple questions that you can ask about any passages in the Bible. We will use these same questions for each day’s discussion time this week.

What does this passage teach us about God?

What does this passage teach us about people?

How should we respond?

Additional question: What does it mean that God is the everlasting God, the first and the last?

Explain that God has always been and will always be. Unlike any other person or thing, God does not get old or get tired. He existed before the earth was formed and He will reign forever and ever.

Pray

Spend time praying. Praise God for being the everlasting God, with no beginning and no end, abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, giving strength to all who trust in Him.
